Microsoft Teams Direct Routing
Your Office 365 unified communications solution gives you the full benefit of Direct Routing, also known as “Bring Your Own Trunk”.
Its official, Microsoft has announced that Direct Routing will be one of the calling options in Teams, enabling users to make calls via a local or international provider. Direct Routing is a capability of Phone System in Office 365. Businesses connect to a Session Border Controller (SBC), enabling them to use Microsoft Teams with their own telephone provider to make and receive calls over the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN).

Proof of Concept for Microsoft Teams Direct Routing
Many of our clients complete a successful proof of concept (PoC) trial for Direct Routing in Microsoft Teams. This gives them the information they need to show their directors what the company stands to gain. If this applies to you too, we are the specialist company to make that a reality. For over ten years, we have been providing products and delivering support services for Microsoft OCS, Lync, Skype for Business and Cloud Connector Edition (CCE). Our team has the technical knowledge to support your organization’s switchover to Teams, and to get the maximum benefit from the platform.
EASY TRANSITION TO CALLING IN TEAMS
When Teams is integrated with an existing PBX, pilot users can be moved to Calling in Teams while other users remain on the legacy PBX. Eventually all users can be easily transitioned to Calling in Teams. The call traffic between these users stays within the organization during the transition .
Support for Analogue Devices
If an organization decides to move to Calling in Teams but has analogue devices such as DECT servers, elevator phones or overhead pagers, these devices can be connected to Teams and the PBX/PABX phone system via Direct Routing. Call traffic between analogue devices and Teams users stays within the organization.
