Microsoft Teams Direct Routing
Your Unified Communications solution will Office 365 will make the most of the “Bring Your Own Trunk” solution, also known as Direct Routing.
This time it's for real—Microsoft is rolling out the “Direct Routing” feature on its solution Teams that will allow users to make calls through a local or international carrier. “Direct Routing” or direct routing is a feature of Phone System in Office 365. It allows businesses to connect to a device Session Border Controler (SBC) so they can use Microsoft Teams with their own telephone service provider (carrier) to handle calls on the public switched telephone network (PSTN)

Proof of Concept the “Direct Routing” feature from Microsoft Teams
Would you like to successfully conduct a Proof of Concept (PoC) of the Direct Routing Microsoft Teams solution to present it to your management and need a specialist to guide you? For over 10 years, we have been providing products and support for Microsoft OCS, Lync, and Skype for Business and the Cloud Connector Edition (CCE). The Lambert Consulting team has the technical expertise to guide your organization toward the Teams platform so you can get the most out of it.
Easy transition to the call in Teams
By integrating with an PBX existing system, pilot users can be transitioned to calls in MS Teams while other users remain on their old PBX. Eventually, all users will be able to easily switch to making calls in Teams. Call traffic between these users during the transition remains within the organization.
Support for analogue devices
If an organization wants to switch to making phone calls through MS Teams but still has analog devices such as DECT servers, elevator phones, or pagers, it can connect those devices to Teams and the phone system PABX/PBX via direct routing. Call traffic between the analog devices and Teams users remains within the organization.

What an article Can't Know
An article describes what applies to everyone. What varies from one organization to another is the inventory: which applications, which accounts, and which pieces of equipment are actually involved in your organization. The inventory determines the scope of the effort, and it cannot be summarized on a single page.
You'll be speaking directly with the engineers who will be doing the work, not with a middleman. We'll respond within 24 business hours.
