Titles, Publishers, and Tools

A logo doesn't prove anything.A partner number does.

We hold five certifications issued by publishers and manufacturers, and we manufacture products from twelve of them. This page explains what each one offers you: when a service goes down, when you purchase licenses, and when the publisher changes the rules.

Three numbers—and you can count them again here.

A badge is verified, a duration is verified, a list is recounted. The three numbers below are recounted in the sections of this page—we do not display any others.

What You Get Out of It

A partnership yields three things. Not four.

Everything else is just window dressing. These three have everything they need: a date, a number, and a contact person.

01

A named climbing route

An incident opened under our partner number does not go into the public support queue. It is assigned to an engineer at the software vendor, with a contractual response time commitment and a history that is already filled out. We handle the case; you don’t have to explain your architecture to a first-level support representative who isn’t familiar with it.

The day that matters: Friday at 5 p.m., when the phone system for an entire site goes silent.

02

A price—and the right to tell you not to buy it

The partner pricing is just the tip of the iceberg. The real value lies elsewhere: knowing which license SKUs you don’t need to purchase. A plan that’s too expensive, an option already included elsewhere, a module billed per user when only three people will use it—that’s where the money is wasted, and you need to be familiar with the vendor’s product catalog to spot it.

The day that matters: upon signing the renewal, once a year, for three years.

03

The roadmap prior to its publication

A partner receives previews, deprecation notices, and program changes before they are publicly announced. This is what allows us to let you know that a product you were planning to invest in is nearing the end of its lifecycle, or that a feature you’re waiting for will be released in the fall—and therefore that it’s better to wait rather than work around it.

The day that matters: when it's time to decide, six months before installing anything.

What a title Doesn't Prove

A certification attests to a company’s credentials: its size, the exams it has passed, and its verified achievements. It says nothing about the person who will come to your home. That is why we never present a partnership as a guarantee of competence— competence lies with the specific engineer assigned to your project, not with a logo, and you can verify it by meeting with them before signing the contract.

Who will work on your project?

The Interpretation Framework

Three families that should not be confused with one another.

A title stands on its own, a product sits on a surface, a tool is held in the hand. All three appear on this page, separate from one another—because what you can expect from each is different.

The partnership that supports others

Microsoft, and what “Solutions Partner” means.

The meaning of the word changed in 2022, and almost no one explained it. Here are the rules of the game, and here’s what we’ve learned from them.

Until 2022, Microsoft classified its partners by competency, with two tiers: Silver and Gold. The program has been overhauled: competencies have been eliminated and replaced by six designations that correspond to the major areas in the catalog. The highest tier is now called Solutions Partner.

This change is not merely cosmetic. A Gold designation used to be earned through exams and sales volume. The designation is now calculated based on three pillars that are continuously measured: sales performance, certifications held by designated individuals, and proven customer success—deployments in production, actual usage, and user growth. It is recalculated annually, and it can be lost.

That’s why a partner who is still listing “ Gold Partner ” in 2026 should raise a red flag: either they didn’t go through the redesign, or they didn’t pass the benchmark. We passed it, and we were already at the highest level under the old name.

Beyond the program titles, the program includes advanced specializations: narrow focus areas—such as migration email, VoIP ( Teams), and application modernization—that require a third-party audit of real-world cases. These are what truly distinguish two partners with the same designation.

Ribbon Communications

Ribbon Communications

Session Controllers · formerly Sonus

The other major player in telephone connectivity, alongsideAudioCodes. A session controller is the component that communicates with your service provider on one end and Teams on the other—and steps in when the two don’t see eye to eye. This is where issues like calls that don’t go through, numbers that don’t show up, and ringtones that are a second too late are resolved.

Where we put it

  • The Swiss carrier connection to Teams, with failover
  • The coexistence of an existing telephone exchange and Teams during a migration in stages
  • Local site survival: Internal calls continue even if the connection is lost

Contact Center at Teams · Swiss publisher

Nimbus transforms Teams into a contact center: queues, skills, overflow, statistics— without taking your agents out of the tool they’re familiar with. It’s one of the few Microsoft-certified products that keeps the call within Teams from start to finish, which makes all the difference in terms of audio quality and licensing.

Where we put it

  • Multilingual phone support, with calls routed based on language and time of day
  • Teams consisting of just a few agents for whom a full-scale contact center would be excessive
  • The telephone connection Teams that we install ourselves underneath

Employee Registration and Management

Two products we’ve been implementing for years, which are now part of the same company. Verba records conversations—a requirement in the financial sector and an increasingly common practice elsewhere. Calabrio It also manages staffing: forecasting workload, scheduling, and attendance. Both solutions draw on data from the contact center; that’s why it’s best for the same company to implement both layers.

Where we put it

  • Compliant recording of calls and meetings Teams, with time-limited retention
  • Planning a production set based on actual space requirements, rather than on a spreadsheet
  • Restoring the history when the previous recorder is stopped

This is the component that makes it possible to restart a mail server on a Tuesday morning without anyone noticing.

  • In two-site architectures, to switch over without human intervention

FaxMaker does something that nobody talks about anymore but that many people still need: sending and receiving faxes without an analog line, directly from email. In the healthcare sector, at notary offices, and in certain government agencies, the fax remains a legally binding channel—and when the service provider cuts off the landline, it simply has to keep working.

Where we put it

  • Continuing to use fax services after analog lines are discontinued, without changing the numbers
  • Receiving faxes in your mailbox and sending them via email
  • The delivery receipt, required when the fax is legally binding

The problem everyone has but no one solves: users who have administrator privileges on their workstations “because otherwise nothing installs.” Admin By Request Remove the permanent permission and grant it on demand, for a specific action, with a log. The user isn’t restricted, and you no longer have a thousand machines where an employee can disable the antivirus.

  • The information an auditor requires: who raised what, when, and why

What We Use

A tool in our hands—one you don’t have to buy.

Its logo has appeared alongside the others for years. However, it’s not a solution we would recommend to you: it’s a construction tool.

BitTitan MigrationWiz

BitTitan MigrationWiz

The tool we use to move whatever needs to be moved: mailboxes, archives, documents, file-sharing sites, teams Teams , and their private conversations. Itworks in batches, in parallel, and picks up where it left off—which is the only way to move a few thousand mailboxes without tying up a team for a month.

It is especially useful in the most challenging scenario: migrating from one Microsoft 365 environment to another following a merger or split, when both sides need to continue operating during the transition.

Migrations from one environment to another

Why just one?

Because a tool migration can’t be resold.

Licenses are purchased for the duration of the project, based on the number of boxes moved, and they expire when the project ends. You won’t have any use for them afterward—and selling you a subscription you’ll no longer use would be the very definition of a pointless sale.

That’s also why this family will never include many names: our other work tools are our own; they’re none of your business, and they have no place on a partners page.

Brand Freshness

What has changed names, and when.

The marketplace is acquiring, renaming, and revamping its programs. A logo displayed under a name that was discontinued four years ago says something—on this site as well as on others. Here is the current status as of the date this page was published.

Correspondence between the former and current names of the programs and publishers listed on this page
What You May Have Experienced What It Is Today Since What This Changes
Microsoft Gold Partner Microsoft Solutions Partner late 2022 The competencies have been replaced by six designations that are recalculated each year.
Kemp Technologies Progress Kemp November 2021 Acquisition by Progress Software. The LoadMaster product will retain its name.
Calabrio, separated from Verint Verint, WFM product: Calabrio February 2026 The two companies now share a single brand: Verint. Planning and registration are handled by the same publisher.
Sonus Networks Ribbon Communications 2017 Merger with GENBAND. Our page URL still uses the old name, which is still typed out.
BitTitan BitTitan, Idera Group October 2021 MigrationWiz continues under its own name, using the same volume licensing model.
Kerio GFI Software 2017 Kerio Connect and FaxMaker are from the same vendor and are still being maintained.
Skype for Business Server Teams Phone, or Skype for Business Server SE 2025 Only one edition remains on this site; the rest have been moved to Teams.

Why is this list here rather than in a blog post? Because a visitor searching for “ Calabrio ” or “Kemp” should land on a page that explains what has become of those names, not on a blank logo. The old names remain listed for this reason—people still type them into search engines.

Two questions

What kind of partnership would benefit your project?

We specify the publisher, the text we enter ourselves below, and the page to read next. Nothing is sent, nothing is saved, and there’s no address to provide.

01 What you want to do
02 Your starting point

Two questions are no substitute for an interview

They lead you to the right aisle, but not to the right quote. The choice between two products in the same category comes down to the number of people involved, what you’ve already paid, and what your team can handle—three things no form can guess.

What we would put opposite it

Answer both questions.

The editor, the piece we place underneath, and the page to be read are all entered right here.

The Editor Who Responds

AudioCodes or Ribbon, in Microsoft Teams Phone.

Business telephony hinges on a component that nobody talks about: the session controller, which connects the carrier t Teams. We evaluate both brands and select the appropriate one based on your carrier and your existing infrastructure. If the number of extensions involved doesn’t justify Teams Phone, we’ll also provide a quote for 3CX —and we’ll show you both options.

Telephony on Microsoft Teams From the numbering plan to the carrier connection. Read the page

Luware or Dynamics 365 Contact Center.

Two options, and the choice isn’t based on the brand—it’s based on the size of the call center and what you want to integrate. A few agents, multilingual support, and a call center that remains within Teams : Luware. A multichannel call center linked to the customer record, or a company already using Dynamics 365: Microsoft’s tool, which integrates directly without a gateway.

Microsoft, Dell, and Admin By Request.

Three steps, one result: a machine that comes out of the box at the user’s location and configures itself. Dell provides the hardware, which is prepared before shipment. Intune and Autopilot handle registration and policies. Admin By Request to remove permanent administrative privileges without blocking anyone—this is the point that’s missing almost everywhere.

Veeam, on Dell hardware.

The software isn't the issue: all reputable products back up data. What distinguishes a real backup from a false one is whether you've actually tried to restore data, whether a copy is stored off-site, and whether the recovery time is measured rather than just stated. We provide both layers—the software and the underlying storage—which prevents the blame from being shifted from one vendor to another.

An uninterrupted storage contract The context, the constraints, and what was delivered. Read the mandate

None: It's our tool, and you don't have to buy anything.

The transfer of mailboxes, archives, documents, and teams Teams is done using MigrationWiz, whose licenses are purchased on a per-user basis for the duration of the project and expire when the project ends. The only time you’ll hear us mention a vendor is if your existing email system is so outdated that it requires a gateway—and we’ll let you know beforehand, not in the middle of the process.

Switching from one Microsoft 365 environment to another The most challenging scenario: merger, separation, or coexistence during the transition. Read the page

Progress Kemp, in front of your servers.

Publishing a service without exposing the machine that hosts it: that’s the job of a load balancer. Load balancing across multiple servers, encryption termination, health checks, automatic failover. It’s the component that lets you restart a server on a Tuesday morning without anyone noticing—and the one you’ll regret not having set up when you need to do it in an emergency.

Load balancers Secure publishing, high availability, two sites. Read the page

What lies beneath—and that is our concern

The publisher's product is a box. What makes a call go through is the numbering plan, the carrier connection, schedule forwarding, call groups, site resilience when the link goes down, and the audio quality measured on your network. None of this is included with the license.

A contact center is only as good as the phone system that powers it—and we’re the ones who install it. Add what the vendor’s tool doesn’t provide: compliant call recording, team scheduling, and integration with the directory so that skills are assigned to the right people.

The hard part isn’t registering the devices—it’s deciding what requirements to impose on them. Compliance strategies, disk encryption, conditional access based on the device’s status, and the fate of in-house applications that don’t install themselves. It’s this work that makes the difference between a managed fleet and an inventoried fleet.

Backing up is the easy part. Testing the restore process is the hard part: the window of time available each night, secondary storage, the copy that’s taken off-site, the order in which servers are restarted after a disaster, and the periodic tests that we run even when everything is working fine.

Moving the data is a mechanical process. What takes time is everything before and after: taking inventory of what actually exists, managing the coexistence of directories during the migration, redirecting email, replicating permissions and delegations, dealing with mailbox rules that no one has documented, and migrating mailboxes without having to visit each user individually.

The load balancer is useless on its own. What matters is what you build around it: certificates and their renewal, publishing rules, health checks that detect a failure before your users do, failover between two sites, and conditional access that determines who is allowed to enter.

Your starting point changes this

Everything is done on-site: so the question isn’t which product to use, but in what order. The directory and user accounts come before everything else—doing them in the wrong order means having to redo the same work twice, and that’s the most common and most costly mistake.

Already in Microsoft 365: so half the work is making sure you don’t break anything, and the other half is making sure you don’t buy something you’re already paying for. We start by reviewing your subscriptions: often, some of what you’re looking for is already included but not activated.

Both at the same time, on a long-term basis: this is the reality for nearly all of our customers—and the one that’s least well-supported. Coexistence isn’t just a phase to get through; it’s a state that must be maintained—with two directories that communicate with each other, dual sets of rules, and call paths that must work in both directions for years to come.

We respond with a scope of work and a mandate, not with a brochure. Preparing the proposal is free of charge; the design studies are included in the mandate.

Are you a publisher or manufacturer?

Are you looking for a systems integrator in French-speaking Switzerland?

This page is for you, too. We enter into few partnerships, but we maintain them for a long time— our longest-standing one is sixteen years old. Here’s what we bring to the table, and what we ask in return.

What We Offer

  • Engineers who implement, not salespeople who present: putting the system into production is part of the mandate
  • French and German, and three agencies in French-speaking Switzerland
  • A customer base in healthcare, the public sector, finance, industry, and humanitarian aid
  • Federal authorization for staffing services: Our employees can work on a contract basis at the end customer’s site

What We Are Asking For

  • A named climbing route with a time limit. That’s the first requirement, before the fee
  • Laboratory licenses: We don't sell a product that we haven't broken ourselves first
  • A designated technical contact at your company, not a generic email address
  • A roadmap shared under a confidentiality agreement: We commit to our clients for several years

How to Get Started

  • A technical discussion, not a sales pitch: our engineers meeting with yours
  • A prototype at our facility, using our machines, based on our clients' scenarios
  • A real first assignment, with a client who agrees to be the first—and knows it
  • Only then can there be a two-way commitment

We respond to all proposals, including by saying no—and when we do, we explain why. A partnership that we cannot afford to maintain does no one any good.

Let's talk about it

A partnership alone doesn't make a project. Describe yours.

Just a few lines are enough: what you have, what you want to achieve, and what’s standing in your way. We’ll tell you which products we’d recommend, what we’d implement ourselves, and how we could assist you—whether through a fixed-price contract, time-and-materials, or post-launch support.

Preparing a quote is free. Design studies and audits are included in the scope of work. We’ll respond within 24 business hours.
