Data Protection Manager

System Center - Data Protection Manager (DPM) is an enterprise backup system that you can use to backup data from a source location to a target location on the DPM server. DPM can create full or incremental backups of data.

DPM can be used for the following tasks

• Data backup: You back up and recover data on servers Windows, client computers Windows and supported Microsoft applications. For more information, see DPM Protection Support Matrix and Planning Backup and Data Protection.
