Should you move all or part of your phone service to the Cloud? Yes, but not without experts at the helm.

In this article, we’ll discuss the importance of telephone system design on the Cloud managed by experts.

Right now, phone system design may not be at the top of your list of priorities, but if you’ve decided that your organization needs to modernize its phone system and migrate its voice services partially or completely to the cloud, you’ll need to pay close attention to this.

There are several advantages to moving your phone service to the Cloud; one of the most compelling reasons to move your voice services to the cloud is that you can reduce your total cost of ownership. To achieve this, you need to avoid what may be hidden costs and risks.

And only expert-driven telephony design will help you do that.

  • What will you be charged for, day after day, once you've switched your phone service to the cloud?
  • Each location/country has its own nuances that must be taken into account. Perhaps you can’t actually use the services VoIP in country “A”? What is the proper procedure for handling emergency calls in location/country “B”?
  • How could you reduce your teams' productivity loss if your Internet connection/Microsoft 365 were to experience an outage?
  • How can I optimize audio streams between sites and countries—regardless of where my user is located—to ensure that the quality of their PSTN calls remains high?
  • etc.

Whatever the factors, we take everything into account.

Without a cautious approach in mind, you’ll find yourself dealing with vendors and integrators who offer only a basic telephony design on the Cloud. Although the proposed concept may be appealing, it won’t take actual usage into account. You may find it perfectly feasible now, but it certainly won’t be finely tuned to your organizational needs.

This will inevitably lead to pitfalls and problems in the medium to long term. If you simply stick to 'off-the-shelf' models/offers, you will more than likely end up with a solution that requires adjustments and additional considerations that have not been costed. And these are likely to be expensive to mitigate.

The design of your telephony driven by our experts will ensure a customised solution, perfectly adapted to the needs of your organisation. This approach will ultimately reduce your costs and your total cost of ownership.

What an article Can't Know

An article describes what applies to everyone. What varies from one organization to another is the inventory: which applications, which accounts, and which pieces of equipment are actually involved in your organization. The inventory determines the scope of the effort, and it cannot be summarized on a single page.

You'll be speaking directly with the engineers who will be doing the work, not with a middleman. We'll respond within 24 business hours.
