NexTeams365 — a telephony management platform for Microsoft Teams
The problem
As soon as an organization exceeds a few hundred users Teams, managing its phone system becomes unmanageable using native tools. Provisioning is done manually via PowerShell ; numbers, number ranges, and assignments are tracked in Excel files; and visibility into costs and incidents is only reconstructed after the fact. Across multiple sites, multiple carriers, and sometimes multiple tenants, this approach leads to errors, duplicates, service interruptions—and a telecom bill that no one really has a handle on.
The larger the environment becomes, the higher the cost of this complexity: administrative time, risk of error, inconsistencies across sites, and dependence on a few people who “know the scripts.”
Our response: NexTeams365
NexTeams365 is a unique platform that gives teams IT full control over their Microsoft Teams voice environment—users, numbers, routing, agents, and cost tracking—all from a single portal. No more PowerShell, no more Excel spreadsheets, no more guesswork.
Developed by Lambert Consulting SA , the solution was designed for enterprise- Teams : it manages voice services at scale, across multiple sites and tenants, by integrating with the IT already in place rather than replacing it.
How It Works
More than 18 features, organized around five pillars.
1. Provisioning and Automation: Create and update users—including phone numbers, extensions, and Teams policies—in minutes rather than hours. Intelligent assignment from predefined number ranges, IAM integration (FIM/MIM, Azure AD) and role-based management: global administrator or local administrator per site.
2. Multi-site and multi-operator management Native support for Direct Routing andOperator Connect, visual mapping of sites, gateways, and number ranges, multi-tenant compatibility, and direct integration with SBC or telecom partners—all managed from a single dashboard.
3. Call Management and Routing: Customized routing based on location, department, or extension; rules for converting incoming and outgoing numbers; and conditional call blocking by reason, range, or category.
4. Monitoring and reporting Native integration with SCOM, SSRS dashboards, and real-time monitoring of provisioning errors, blocked calls, and anomalies.
5. Billing and Cost Tracking: Allocation of call costs to cost centers (user, site, gateway); calculation using a custom rate matrix; automatic export to accounting systems orERP; and full integration of Call Detail Records (CDRs) from Teams.
Integration into Your IT System
NexTeams365 integrates into the existing system without a “rip-and-replace” approach:
- Compatible Microsoft 365 E5 / Teams Phone Standard
- Log in to Active Directory / Azure AD
- Support for hybrid environments
- Secure access via authentication Windows or SSO
How This Will Affect Your Organization
- More time saved, fewer errors. Automated provisioning replaces manual scripts and spreadsheets.
- Consistency across sites. Standardized numbering and rules, applied uniformly on a large scale.
- A well-managed telecom budget. Costs are tracked by location or by unit in real time, with no surprises at the end of the month.
- Fewer duplicates and interruptions. Centralized visibility reduces incidents and redundant tasks.
Example: “At a large NGO, NexTeams365 enabled the provisioning of 16,000 users across more than 280 locations worldwide, reduced provisioning time by 75 percent, and recovered significant unallocated telecom costs.”
Who is it for?
NexTeams365 is designed for teams IT that manage large-scale Microsoft Teams deployments:
- Voice environments with 100 or more users
- Infrastructure AD/Hybrid IAM
- Multi-site or multi-tenant deployments
- Direct Routing, Operator Connect, or both
What an article Can't Know
An article describes what applies to everyone. What varies from one organization to another is the inventory: which applications, which accounts, and which pieces of equipment are actually involved in your organization. The inventory determines the scope of the effort, and it cannot be summarized on a single page.
You'll be speaking directly with the engineers who will be doing the work, not with a middleman. We'll respond within 24 business hours.
